This safari takes you to the Murchison Falls NP. The highlights of this park include the roaring rapids of the Murchison, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park and the Big Five sighting. You will thereafter transfer to Kibale, the primate capital. Expect to encounter human's closest wild relation, the chimps firsthand. You will be fascinated by these awesome apes. Finally, transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP where you can expect a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel and a game drive. As a great way to wind up you amazing African Safari, the Zanzibar beach breeze would be your gate away to a heavenly feeling before you embark on your plane to return back.

Day 1 : Transfer To Murchison Falls Np With Detour Rhino Tracking In Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Location: Entebbe International Airport, Murchison Falls National Park

Accommodation: Lodge, Lodge

Your safari starts from the hotel or Entebbe Airport where our guide/driver will pick you and hit the road to Murchison Falls National Park. The highlights of this park include the roaring rapids of the Murchison, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park, where you will have the chance of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. Then surely you will be fascinated by the concentration of hippos and the Nile crocodiles here. For birders, Murchison Falls boasts 450 bird species including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf kingfisher, the white-thigh hornbill, and the Goliath heron among others.

Day 2 : Morning Game Drive And The Afternoon Launch Trip To The Base Of The Falls

Location: Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, tour the northern section of Murchison with a high concentration of savannah wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, the leopards (if you are lucky) plus a variety of bird species.
Return to your accommodation for lunch and then go for a launch trip to the base of the falls (which is the highlight of the safari in Murchison Falls as it allows you to get up close to the animal species in the water).

Day 3 : Exit Murchison And Transfer To Kibale Forest Np

Location: Kibale National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation, drive to the top of the falls (if you didn’t hike yesterday) where you will have spectacular views of the falls. If you hiked, you can depart for Kibale Forest National Park. Kibale is highest at the park’s northern tip, which stands 1,590 m above sea level. The lowest point is 1,100 m on the floor of the Albertine Rift Valley to the south and covers 795 sq km of beautiful forest

Day 4 : Go Chimp Trekking In Kibale Forest And Later Transfer To Queen Elizabeth Np

Location: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Accommodation: Lodge, Lodge

Today you will experience some serious primate business! Kibale Forest National Park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including chimpanzees. Approximately 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them! An experienced ranger will take you chimp tracking in the morning.

The activity begins at 8.00 am with a briefing regarding the rules of trekking the chimpanzees. Afterward, you'll set off to search for them in the forest. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. You will return to the lodge for lunch after which you will head out for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in the evening and have an overnight stay at your booked accommodation.

Day 5 : Morning Game Drive And Launch Trip Along The Kazinga Channel

Location: Queen Elizabeth National Park

On this day, you will have a game drive and launch trip (boat trip) on the Kazinga Channel. Early in the morning, you will go out for a game drive through the park, with magnificent views of the plains, valleys, terraced hills, and wild animals such as reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthog, elephant, lion, buffalo, and so much more. Have a break and relax as you eat lunch served at the lodge.

Day 6 : Transfer Back To Kampala

Location: Kampala

Accommodation: Lodge

You may opt to visit the Katwe Salt Lake or go for explosion crater drive before exiting Queen Elizabeth. Else, depart for Entebbe straight away after your breakfast. Your lunch will be en route. You will transfer to Kampala to relax for the evening and get ready for your Zanzibar trip the next day. This evening you may opt for a brief night Kampala city tour at a reasonable extra fee.

Day 7 : Transfer To Tanzania

Location: Julius Nyerere International Airport, Zanzibar Island

From the first contact, the company tryed to fullfill our wishes 100%. Roger, the driver was allways carefull and explained us lots of things about politics, economics and social life in this beautifull country. Over all, he knows everything about flora aud fauna. He spotted all the animals , so we could really see the "big five" during our journey. Jessie, the cute tour operator from verdoro safaris accompanied us for the most of the trip and organised all our wishes immediately and perfect. Thanks to the two of them we spend interesting, marvellous days in Uganda. We can really recommend the tour organiser verdoro safaris.

During the planning stages Verdoro Safaris was very helpful with setting up the routes and activities during the safari. The guide we had was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife as well as general questions we had. When the weather was less than great there were alternatives provided from which we could choose. The accommodations they had us in were great and very close to the parks and activities. The vehicle was well maintained and comfortable. We were able to see almost everything that we wanted to see and the only misses were due to weather or just nature not cooperating. Would highly recommend.
