On this short break our expert guide will take us on a walking tour of the city and will show us major points of interest like the Piazza Maggiore, the Fountain of Neptune, the food markets and the towers of Bologna. Then we’ll enjoy lunch at an Osteria and savour flavours of the region including Bologna Mortadella and tortellini soup. We’ll also enjoy a guided excursion to Parma, where we’ll learn how the famous Prosciutto di Parma is made and indulge in some samples as well. There will be plenty of free time to explore Bologna at a leisurely pace and this Italy holiday also offers an optional excursion to Modena, known for its production of balsamic vinegar and being the home city of Enzo Ferrari. Will there be a guide to meet us when we arrive at our destination?
You will be met on arrival at your destination airport and transferred to your accommodation. You will be accompanied on all included excursions by your Travel Department guide.

Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, all passengers must have travel insurance for Travel Department holidays. We would suggest you pay special attention to any exclusion clauses and excess on your insurance policy to ensure you are happy with your cover. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance for the holiday you are booking.
