Day 1 : Giza

Sun Pyramids Tours guide will pick up you from your hotelt, to enjoy a great excursion to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren and visit to the Valley Temple.
Move to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King zoser. Then Proceed to have your lunch at local restaurant
After that transfer to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. And then visit Dahshur pyramids an ancient royal necropolis, located approximately 40 kilometers south of Cairo – the pyramids were built from 2613 – 2589 BC. The Bent pyramid is the most famous of the pyramids in the area.

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza in an air-conditioned vehicle to take you to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Located in Old Cairo, the museum showcases 50,000 artifacts and will tell you the story of Egyptian heritage and culture.
Move to visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was discovered. After a memorable day discovering the city, you will be dropped off at your selected location or hotel in Cairo or Giza.
Next, you will visit Saladin Citadel, built in 1183. This huge structure protected Cairo from several enemy attacks. Admire the beautiful city views of Cairo and the desert from the citadel. Listen to interesting stories about its construction and history from your guide. Then, it’s time to enjoy an authentic lunch at a local restaurant.

then move to the mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun is located in Cairo, Egypt. It is one of the oldest mosques in Egypt as well as the whole of Africa surviving in its full original form, and is the largest mosque in Cairo in terms of land area
Mosque-Madrasa of Sultan Hasan is a monumental mosque and madrasa located in Salah al-Din Square in the historic district of Cairo, Egypt. It was built between 1356 and 1363 during the Bahri Mamluk period
Then, move to Bab Zuwayla through Street of Muezz to visit the Al Khayammeyah, Mosque-Mausoleum of Sultan al-Mu’ayyad Shaykh, Sabil-Kuttab of Tusun Pasha and the Mosque of Al-Azhar.
Continue walking from the twin-towered Bab el-Fotouh
Khan el-Khalili bazaar, one of the city’s major souks. Immerse yourself in the tightly packed stalls displaying everything from spices and leather goods to jewelery and vegetables, all on a street that has hardly changed for centuries. Bargaining is expected, so prepare to negotiate. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before driving to the madrasa, and mausoleum of Sultan al-Mansur Qalawun and the Madrasa-Khanqah of Sultan Barquq. Your guide will show you the Museum of textiles and the mosque of Al-Aqmar, before seeing, the best example of an old Cairo house. Then transfer back to your hotel.

Can unmarried couples stay together in Egypt?

Foreign unmarried couples can stay together in Egypt. Egyptian or Arabian unmarried couples are not allowed to stay together, as it is illegal. The same goes for an Egyptian man/foreign woman or Egyptian woman/foreign man, as it is illegal for them to stay in a hotel together.
What to wear when I travel to Egypt?

Clothing: Egypt's climate is dry all year round, so you won't require rainwear unless you are going to Alexandria between December and February. In winter you will need light woolen clothes with sweaters, “layers of clothing are recommended. “From December to February travelers to winter clothing is essential. In spring and autumn, a combination of both is advisable for the warm days and cool nights, so pack accordingly. From May to November, light cotton clothes are recommended People in Egypt are used to tourists visiting their countries. You are welcome to wear walking shorts and a short sleeve shirt for sightseeing excursions On board Nile cruises we recommend to dress 'smart casual' to dinner each evening. Swimsuits are absolutely fine for the swimming pools and beaches On days that you visit Holy sites (mosques and churches), you preferably wear slacks, long skirts and long sleeves. If not, they provide in the mosques something long to wear to enter the mosques Strong and comfortable closed-toe shoes are wise choices to keep your feet from sand, dust, or mud. Sandals are not good options, except for beach areas.
Are there any special customs I should observe whilst in Egypt?

Yes, most Egyptian customs differ from the Western customs due to the cultural and religious differences, as shown below: 1. Most women in Egypt behave conservatively with strangers. 2. Most mosques require visitors to remove their shoes before entering. 3. Use the right hand to eat and give gifts. 4. It is inept to take photos of soldiers, tanks, or any other military property.
Can I get a visa on arrival from other border crossings other than airports?

Regarding the conditions for obtaining a visa at border crossings and ports, they are applied in accordance with the policy for obtaining an Egyptian visa, as mentioned previously. But kindly note that in some ports, guarantee letter will be required and also permission from the tourism police, to leave the port and return and your travel agent will help you in this case by providing the guarantee letter. It is therefore possible to apply for an Egyptian visa on arrival at the border control for the countries that take the visa upon arrival However, it is strongly advised against crossing the land border as information on checkpoints that issue visas on arrival is not always up to date. Mahmoud Emam is a walking Google. I'm not sure if he is human, because he knows everything. He is friendly, polite, articulate, and charismatic. We were amazed by the sites and the depth of knowledge he shared. Ahmed Hamama was our driver and him and Mahmoud (our tour guide) arrived on time to begin our journey. My experience today was amazing, our tour guy Mahmoud is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. He explained the pyramid history and museum history. He took us to a very nice jewelry store and very nice restaurant. (The food was delicious) The driver Ahmed is also very professional. He picked us up at the scheduled time. We spent two days touring Cairo with Mahmoud Emam and are feeling so blessed to have chosen this company and experience. We went to the pyramids and rode camels, saw historical sites in Memphis and Saqqaura. Mahmoud was very knowledgeable and kind. He has so much information about so many different aspects of Egyptian history and culture and we so enjoyed our time with him. I highly recommend requesting him as your tour guide. We also did a dinner cruise on the Nile River and had shuttle service to and from the airport and had a wonderful driver as well as another tour guide named Mohab for these who we also felt very safe and comfortable with and learned a lot from. We have been so happy with our time in Egypt!!

Our group of four enjoyed two days and two evenings of guided tours by our guides; Mustafa and Same. They had so much information to share with us for the whole duration of the tours. Same took us to many wonderful sights including pyramids of Saqqara, papyrus making, essential oil making, hand made carpets and more. The highlights were the Mohammed Ali Mosque and the Egyptian Museum. So much knowledge to share, so friendly and considerate. No question went unanswered. If you want a wonderful experience, I cannot recommend these guys more highly.

Best experience with Sun Pyramids Tours. All our tour for 14 days in Egypt are with them. They provide everything our lunch and water, Tour Guide and driver and transfor. Even our transfer to hotel to airport... so great experience. All are on time and tour manager always discuss the plan and drivers name. Thanks to them because they make our vacation great. We are so safe in going around Egypt and Jordan especially going to Mt. Sinai.

I booked 08N/09D, tour with Sun Pyramids Tours. When I decided to make a tour to Egypt on my own I found out this travel company in a Google search. With the other customer recommendations I chose to travel with this agent with my family of 03 people. They handled our tour professionally and the vehicles provided were in very good quality. Overall we had a very nice experience in Egypt with the tailor made tour which was proposed by Sun Pyramids to suit our itinerary. Thanks a lot Sun Pyramids Team

They are expensive enough, they promise 4 star hotels but the hotels are 2 stars, noisy, unmanaged and untrained staff. They won't care about the comfort the hotel may call you at midnight for any request you made at 9.30pm. Breakfast time was 7am, and i reached 7:30am, and it was finished. Customer care may call you at 1.30 am for any issue you face in the daytime. The card they gave me was full of dust as I opened the air through it all went on my face. They promised full air-conditioned cars, but they gave old less functional. The good thing was I canceled the 9 days plan on the 4th day, and they returned me about 40% payment. 1 star is for the refund. I don't recommend it.
