Day 1 : Delhi

Location: Delhi

Pick up in Delhi - the airport or another central location. In the morning visit Old Delhi: the 400-years-old Jama Mosque (the largest in India) and local market. Later visit Red Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). In the afternoon enjoy drive through Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President's Palace) and India Gate (a war memorial arch built in honor of Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War –I). Explore the famous Humayun's Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Qutab Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site- the tallest brick minaret in the world, at 238 feet). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Rishikesh

Location: Rishikesh

Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and travel to Rishikesh by a private vehicle. Later enjoy sightseeing after arrival. Day 4 : Haridwar

Early morning again start your day with yoga and meditation classes. After the classes breakfast is planned and next sightseeing of Haridwar. Here you can closely experience India's complex culture and various Hindu rituals. Haridwar is also one of the four cities where Kumbh Mela is organized. Visit Mansa Devi temple by cable car. Day 5 : Shimla

We had a blast with the tour. It was our first time to India and it had us in ore of just how much history there is to see. As you get to see all the places you just start to think that the rest of the world should come here and see and learn how to be happy with our lives. Every body here are so polite and happy and that's something appreciated. The tour was very well set up and accommodation was spot on. Our tour manager was very proffessional and checked in with us every day to make sure everything was perfect. And if we had any issues he was straight on to it and got it soughted straight away. I can honestly say that it was a very enjoyable tour and have no problems recommending payless tours

With some apprehension I booked two places on the 14 day Himalya tours with nice family home stay through WebJet Exclusives Australia. I was apprehensive as I was unsure who the local Indian tour operator would be, but we absolutely hit the jackpot with Payless tours we could not have wished for a better local company. The local guides (we had three in three different cities) were all knowledgeable and helpful; and the accommodation in all locations was excellent (including three nights at the Family home stay. There are some long travel days involved, but the itinerary is interesting, the landscape amazing and you’ll experience a lot in a short amount of time. A huge thank you to our driver Virender who was an absolute star and an outstanding asset to the company. We’re already thinking about our next holiday to India and will definitely travel with Payless tours.
