Today, we explore Udaipur, renowned as the City of Sunrise. Our sightseeing begins with a visit to Sahelion-Ki-Bari, the Garden of the Maids of Honour, known for its well-manicured lawns and shaded pathways. Following this, we visit the Museum of Folk Art, which houses an extensive collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, musical instruments, and paintings.
After a break, we proceed to the City Palace, the largest palace complex in India, where four generations of Maharajas have left their mark. Next, explore Agra Fort, one of India's finest Mughal forts. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, this massive red sandstone fort sits on the banks of the Yamuna River. Your guide will narrate its rich history and architectural marvels.
Continue to Itmad-ud-Daulah, a tomb renowned for its historical and architectural significance. Known as the "Baby Taj," it is crafted entirely from marble and offers picturesque views of the Yamuna River.
Finally, visit Mehtab Bagh, a series of 11 gardens on the eastern bank of the Yamuna River.
