Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival at Adolfo Suarez Madrid–Barajas International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check-in. Enjoy free time to rest or explore the area until your tour begins. Please make sure you check the information posters in the hotel reception area for information regarding the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. Towards the end of the day, we will provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod Temple, Plaza de Espana, and Gran Via; a vibrant district where you can dine at your restaurant of choice; Indian, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern food are a few of the options available.

After breakfast, you will head on a comprehensive tour through the center of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcala, Plaza de Colon, and Plaza Mayor. You will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the center of the city, where you will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to Las Ventas Bullring will be included. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where you will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. At sunset, you will be transferred to Plaza de Oriente, situated opposite the Royal Palace in an elegant and lively area where many restaurants serving international cuisine can be found for a pleasant dinner (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, and International - these are not included). You will be provided with a return transfer back to your hotel.

In the morning, we will set off for Aragon, passing through the scenic landscapes of Castile. Our first stop will be in Zaragoza to marvel at the breathtaking Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. From there, we'll continue to the tranquil Poblet Abbey, one of the worlds best-preserved medieval monasteries (tickets included). Well conclude our journey in Barcelona, arriving by evening.

Post a delicious breakfast, you will head on a city tour that will take you to many tourist destinations in Barcelona. You will explore La Rambla – a vibrant street in Central Barcelona that connects Placa de Catalunya with the Monument of Christopher Columbus. You will then get to see the works of Gaudi; a famous and highly respected Spanish architect known for his unique style of architecture. See his famous masterworks including La Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera along Passeig de Gracia. At approximately 6:00 PM, you will be transferred to Girona, a small Catalan city known for its beautiful historic center, where the extraordinary cathedral stands out with its great staircase. Spend the evening at leisure to get to know this fascinating city at your own pace.

Day 5: Girona – Arles - Careers Of Light - Chambery (B/-/-)

This morning, you will cross the border into France and drive across Provence. En route, you will make an important stop in Arles, a small World Heritage City where you will remember Van Gogh and see the Roman Theater and Small Romanesque churches. At approximately 12:00 PM, you will arrive in Nimes, a significant city in the Roman Empire, where concerts and bullfighting are still held in its ancient amphitheater after nearly 2,000 years. Take some time to stroll around the city and have lunch. You will receive admission to Carrieres De Lumiere, an impressive show of art, imagery, and underground sound, in former quarries. Day 6: Chambery - Geneva – Gruyeres – Chillon - Leysin (B/-/D)

Our journey will take us to Switzerland, where well arrive in Geneva. With our guide, well visit the Palais des Nations, the United Nations headquarters in Europe, then explore the stunning English Garden with its iconic flower clock and admire the Jet dEau, Europes tallest fountain. Next, well head to the delightful walled village of Gruyères, famous for its cheese. Close by, well find several major chocolate factories, including Nestlé. Our tour includes admission to the Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory, where youll enjoy a delicious tasting experience! Continuing along scenic roads, well pass through serene mountain landscapes and charming wooden villages until we reach Chillon Castle, standing on the shores of Lake Geneva (admission included). By mid-afternoon, well arrive in Leysin, a picturesque holiday village offering spectacular views of the Rhône Valley and Mont Blanc. Known for its winter sports resort and hiking opportunities, Leysin will be our stop for dinner (included).

Well take a cable car up to Glacier 3000, one of Switzerlands most spectacular destinations, where ice and snow can be enjoyed year-round. Here, you can walk across the suspension bridge linking two mountain peaks, explore the Ice Cathedral, or have some fun at the park. Well pause in Interlaken for lunch, then continue to Lucerne, celebrated as one of Switzerlands most picturesque cities. Continue your tour to London, where you will arrive in time to explore the city, see the Tower Bridge lit up, and admire the modern buildings. After a delicious breakfast, you will head out to visit the British Museum, one of the oldest museums in the world. At lunchtime, you will transfer to Camden, a district that is famous for having one of the most varied and extravagant street markets in London, where you can see relics from cultures all around the world. Spend some time at leisure to further explore the area or relax. At around 4:00 PM you will travel to Colchester, the most ancient city in England. You will then board the ferry in Harwich for an overnight night voyage to the Netherlands.

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
