This morning you will embark on a tour through Limas streets and plazas. Begin your journey at Love Park in Miraflores with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean before heading to Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center of Lima culture. After this, you will travel to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. You will visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along whose corridors San Martin de Porras and San Rosa de Lima used to walk in the 17th century, and where their remains rest today. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure or perhaps book an optional tour.

Spend your morning at leisure. This afternoon, explore the city with a tour starting at San Cristobal Plaza. You will see breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Visit Saint Peter Market, where you may appreciate the local flavors and learn about local produce in the area. You may find everything here as it is the main supply center in the city. Continue your journey to the Koricancha Temple (Golden Precinct is the meaning of its name in Quechua) — you can still feel the sumptuousness of its walls that were once lined in gold sheets. From Saint Blas, you will walk along Hatun Rumiyoc Street, and find the Inca Roca Palace midway, today the Archbishops Palace. You will have time to admire the famous Stone of the Twelve Angles. Continue to the Main Square to see the spectacular architecture of the Cathedral and enjoy a breathtaking view of the main square.

Day 5: CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO (B/L/-)

This morning you will be transferred to Ollantaytambo Train Station, where you will depart the city by train and visit one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Arrive at the Aguas Calientes Station where our staff will assist you on boarding the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, along the spectacular views of the Urubamba River and its magnificent canyon. Machu Picchu, The Lost City of the Incas, will surprise you with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps, and urban areas. Energy will be all around you. After a guided tour, you may enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. At the arranged time, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and then transfer to our hotel in Cusco by car.

Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
