At 10:00 AM, meet your local guide at the reception of your hotel and enjoy a walking tour of the city of Bergen. Pass through the most emblematic places such as the Hanseatic Bryggen, with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress and the famous fish market. You can visit the Fløibanen Funicular, which will take you on the top of the Mountain Fløyen, for overall view of the city.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a morning walk to the Bergen port where you will embark a cruise to Balestrand at 8:00 AM (schedule subject to change). Upon arrival in Balestrand at 11:55 AM (schedule subject to change), you will have a short walk from port to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the views of Sognefjord, the King of Fjords. Dinner time at the hotel will be advised by your tour escort.

Day 6: BALESTRAND – FLAM – MYRDAL – OSLO (By Cruise & Train) (B/-/-)

Today after breakfast, continue your journey of Sognefjord with a cruise. Sognefjord – the King of Norway and the longest fjord in Norway. The initial part of the fjord, called Aurlandsfjord, is a 17-kilometer arm of the worlds second-longest fjord, the Sognefjord (204 km). It is one of the most picturesque fjords in the world. Arrive in Flåm, where you will have some free time to discover this beautiful village. Departure to Myrdal by train. Myrdal station is a mountain railway station and junction, located about 13 km from the village of Flåm. Board the famous Flåmsbana – one of the steepest train lines in the world. The train journey runs through fantastic nature, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breath-taking waterfalls and no less than 20 tunnels. It offers so many viewpoints that many feel like traveling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord. Upon arrival in Myrdal connect to the high-speed train to Oslo. Arrive in Oslo late in the evening.

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
