Begin your guided tour of Croatia, Slovenia and Montegero in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia where you will discover a rich heritage, gothic churches, and museums. Next, travel to Ljubljana in Slovenia and explore the baroque-styled buildings set beautifully in the Old Town, dating back to around 2000BC. Discover Lake Bled, a pristine alpine lake, and Bohinj Valley, situated at the foot of the Alps. Return to Croatia to discover Plitvice National Park, home to 16 emerald lakes, hidden caves, and several waterfalls. Continue to Zadar, a 3000-year-old city, and visit Sibenik, a gateway to the Kornati Islands. Continue your journey to Split, a town breathing in ancient history, and see the famous Diocletian Palace. From Split, travel to Dubrovnik, known as the Pearl of the Adriatic. Enjoy walking around the walled city and visiting historic landmarks like Rector's Palace and the Cathedral. Go to Kotor, a gorgeous coastal town in Montenegro surrounded by magnificent mountains. Day 2: Zagreb – Ljubljana (B/-/-)

After breakfast, proceed for a half-day city tour of Zagreb, a city rich with gorgeous greenery, famous for its parks and well-preserved natural environment. Your tour of Zagreb will take you through its long history. In the historic Upper Town, you will find St. Marks Church, with its famous multi-colored mosaic-tiled roof, on the square where the Croatian Parliament and the seat of Government are located. You will also pass by the University and the citys gothic Cathedral. With the fountain in front sculpted by the world-famous sculptor Ivan Meštrović, you cannot miss the Croatian National Theatre, housed in the present-day Old City Hall and home to Zagrebs drama, opera, and ballet productions. After having lunch (own arrangement) at Zagreb you will drive to Ljubljana. Upon arrival, you will proceed to the sightseeing capital of Slovenia and home to one of the oldest Philharmonics in the world. Explore the baroque town buildings and stroll alongside the majestic Ljubljana River which flows through the center of town. Many bridges cross the river; the most famous is Tromostovje (Triple Bridge). Baroque and art-nouveau have marked this exceptional city, together with new, modern architectural styles. The Old Town is the main attraction of the city. It was built on a hill as a fortress, from which you will see Ljubljana and its magnificent surroundings.

Enjoy your breakfast and later drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. There are 16 interlinked lakes between Mala Kapela Mountain and Pljesevica Mountain. The lake system is divided into upper and lower lakes. The upper lakes are separated by dolomite barriers, which grow with the formation of travertine forming, thus travertine barriers. The lower lakes were formed by the crumbling and caving-in of the vaults above subterranean cavities, through which water of the upper lakes disappeared.

Depart for Zadar, one of the most beautifully historic cities in Dalmatia, after your morning meal. This city has been the center of this Adriatic region since Roman times, and today it is a city with rich cultural heritage found on every corner. Later you will drive to Sibenik. Its known as a gateway to the Kornati Islands. The 15th-century stone Cathedral of St. James is decorated with 71 sculpted faces. Nearby, the Sibenik City Museum, is the 14th-century Princes Palace having exhibits ranging from prehistory to the present. The white stone St. Michaels Fortress has an open-air theater with views of Sibenik Bay and neighboring islands. In the evening, you will depart for Split.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure in the photogenic walled city of Dubrovnik, one of the most outstanding cities in Europe. This morning, you will head on a tour with your local guide. Dubrovnik is the proudest feather in Croatias tourist cap. Dubrovnik was known as the Republic of Ragusa in the Middle Ages and became the only Adriatic city-state to rival Venice. You will depart Dubrovnik and travel to Kotor after having your breakfast. It is a fortified town on Montenegros Adriatic coast, in a bay near the limestone cliffs of Mt. Lovćen. Enjoy a half-day tour of Kotor. Characterized by winding streets and squares, its medieval old town has several Romanesque churches, including Kotor Cathedral. It's also home to the Maritime Museum, which explores local seafaring history. Sveti Đorđe, one of 2 tiny islands off the ancient town of Perast, features a centuries-old church. In the afternoon, you will return to Dubrovnik.
