Breakfast. Departure to Coimbra. City seat of one of the oldest universities in Europe and the birthplace of Fado. Free time. Then to Fatima. Center of the Christian Faith and World Pilgrimage Sanctuary with its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria, place where the Virgin Mary appeared. The Chapel of the Apparitions, heart of the sanctuary, with the tombs of the three shepherds, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. At night possibility to attend the procession of the candles. Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline style considered a World Heritage place by UNESCO. Continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré. Free time and continue to Alcobaça (World Heritage) with its Gothic church and Cistercian monastery, whose origins date back to the XII C. Afternoon at leisure for you to catch the nostalgic corners of Alfama Quarter, the old city gathered next to its Castle, with old buildings nested in narrow twisting “Ruas” full of color housing the genuine “tabernas” where Fado sounds as a missing past. Panoramic tour of the most emblematic places such as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter and the fortress that has the best view of Fez el Bali, the medina or ancient city. Take a walking tour accessing the medina through the famous Bab Bou Jeloud gate and have the possibility of experiencing a return to the past of the city that still lives close to Middle Age. Walls that protect its interior made of organized alleys where you will experience a thousand smells and flavors, this place is considered World Heritage. Afternoon at leisure. Breakfast and early departure to Rabat, the capital of the country. Visit the most emblematic places susch as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca where you will visit the most interesting places such us the United Nations Square, the Boulevard de la Corniche and the exterior of Hassan II mosque. Breakfast. Visit of the city called “Pearl of the South”, beginning in the grandiose Menara Gardens, which have a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Afterwards, exterior visit of the Koutoubia minaret, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville. Once inside the old part of the city, visit to the Bahia Palace, property of a nobleman of the city. Finally arrival at Jemaa el Fna square, one of the most interesting places in Morocco, from where you can access the souks and the medina. Crafts guilds of wood, ceramics, leather workers or spice racks will be some of the places that will be visited. Afterwards, lunch at the hotel in Marrakech and later departure to Casablanca. Depart towards Marrakech, Moroccan Southern Capital, and located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-desert area.
