A perfect blend of adventure and relaxation

08-Apr-2025

This 7-day tour exceeded my expectations! The journey started in Bogotá, where we explored the city's history, visited the Gold Museum, and even got to experience the charm of Guatavita Lake. It was a perfect way to ease into the adventure. The Amazon was absolutely magical. Leticia and Puerto Nariño are serene and full of life, with countless opportunities to see wildlife up close, like the pink dolphins and exotic birds. The boat ride along the river was peaceful and offered incredible views of the jungle. Our guides were fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and fluent in English, which made everything even more enjoyable. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that some of the accommodations were a bit basic, but they were still comfortable, and the location in nature made up for it. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure in Colombia’s Amazon! ...more ...less

A magical experience that exceeded all expectations!

08-Apr-2025

I can’t say enough good things about this trip! From the moment we landed in Bogotá, everything was well-organized and smooth. Visiting Guatavita and learning about the legend of El Dorado was surreal, and the Bioparque La Cota was a perfect intro to Colombia’s incredible biodiversity. But the real highlight was the Amazon. Leticia and Puerto Nariño felt like stepping into another world—lush, peaceful, and full of life. We saw pink dolphins, colorful birds, and even monkeys up close. The local guides were outstanding: super knowledgeable, warm, and fluent in English, which made everything so much easier and more meaningful. Staying in the eco-lodges was a dream—simple but comfortable, and waking up to jungle sounds every morning was unforgettable. The tour gave us the perfect mix of adventure, nature, and culture without feeling rushed. Highly recommended if you want a once-in-a-lifetime experience that connects you with the heart of the Amazon! ...more ...less

A unique and enriching adventure!

08-Apr-2025

This tour was a truly special experience. From the lively streets of Bogotá to the peaceful rivers of the Amazon, every day offered something new and memorable. Guatavita was stunning, and learning the story of El Dorado right at the source added a magical touch. The visit to Bioparque La Cota was a great way to get up close with local wildlife before heading into the jungle. The Amazon portion was the highlight—Leticia and Puerto Nariño felt untouched and authentic. Spotting pink dolphins, hiking through the rainforest, and connecting with indigenous communities was unforgettable. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke excellent English, which made the experience even smoother. My only small feedback is that internet access was very limited (especially in Puerto Nariño), so just be prepared to unplug—which, honestly, was also part of the charm. Overall, this tour was well-organized, eye-opening, and filled with moments I’ll remember for a lifetime. ...more ...less
