Day 1 : Arrival Madrid

Location: Madrid

Accommodation: Hotel

Upon landing at Madrid’s airport, head to the Arrivals hall where you will find a driver holding a sign with your name on it. You will then be accompanied to the transfer to your hotel, where you can settle in before spending the rest of this first day at your leisure. Perhaps hit the streets and start exploring the many things one can do in this vibrant city, from visiting museums to enjoying a drink and tapas in one of its innumerable bars. Alternately, you can kick back and make the most of the available services at the hotel. In the evening, you can ask your hotel reception for restaurant recommendations to discover Madrid’s highly-renowned gastronomy before spending the first night in the hotel.

Day 2 : Madrid: Hop On /Off & Flamenco Show

Wake up to breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore Madrid. Wait at any hop-on hop-off bus stop (starting at 9:00 from March to October and at 10:00 from November to February) and enjoy a tour of the most emblematic corners of the city. With just one ticket (included), you will be able to hop on and off the bus all day, stopping to admire whichever buildings or cultural sites most pique your interest. On the bus you’ll receive a set of headphones with commentary in fourteen languages, a map of the city and discount checks for several shops and restaurants. The buses follow two routes. Route nº 1 (Blue) starts and ends at the El Prado Museum and includes stops at the Salamanca neighbourhood, the Temple of Debod, the Royal Theatre, the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral, among many other sites. Route nº 2 (Green), on the other hand, begins and ends on Plaza Neptuno and includes stops at the Sculpture Museum, the Natural Science Museum, the Santiago Bernabéu football stadium, the Archaeological Museum and much more. In the evening, wrap up the day with a flamenco show at the Teatro Flamenco Madrid at 18.00 or 20.00 pm. Go on your own to Calle del Pez 10. The show starts at 18.00 or 20.00 pm. (We recommend that you go 20 minutes before the start of the show). The visit includes the entrance ticket only; return to the hotel by your own means and at the time that suits you best.

Day 3 : Departure Madrid

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, enjoy one last day in this magnificent city by going on a shopping spree or simply by strolling through its unforgettable history-filled streets. Then, at the indicated time, bid farewell to the city and catch your transfer to the airport to continue to your following destination.

Route nº 1 (Blue): El Prado Museum, Puerta de Alcalá, Salamanca neighbourhood, Plaza de Colón, Plaza de Cibeles, Gran Vía, Plaza de España, Temple of Debod, Teatro Real, Palacio Real, Puerta de Toledo, San Francisco El Grande, Almudena Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Círculo Bellas Artes, Thyssen Museum, Reina Sofía Museum, Botanical Garden and El Prado Museum. Route nº 2 (Green): Plaza Neptuno, Plaza de Cibeles, Plaza de Colón, Sculpture Museum, Natural Science Museum, Nuevos Ministerios, Santiago Bernabéu, C.S.I. Científicas, Lázaro Galdiano Museum, Serrano, Archaeological Museum, Puerta de Alcalá, Alcalá, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de las Cortes and Plaza de Neptuno. The operational frequency, depending on the season of the year, ranges approximately from 7 to 15 minutes. Route 1 takes about 80 min and Route 2, about 65 minutes. Departure time: 9:00-22:00 (March to October) & 10:00-18:00 (November to February).
Flamenco show - Teatro Flamenco Madrid: address: Calle del Pez 10, 28004 Madrid. Available shows at 18.00 or 20.00 pm. Duration: 1 hour. We recommend arriving 20 minutes before.

Great experience

Easy communication! The hotel is excellent and loc

Easy communication! The hotel is excellent and location is city centre and safe, so I just walked everywhere. Plenty of restaurants outside the hotel. The tour meet up location is also few minutes walk only! Don’t miss the Royal Palace. Is a must to see it and only steps away. I’m very happy with this trip and highly recommended to add to your itinerary especially for someone who is doing solo travel like me and concerned about safety.
