Day 1 : ARRIVAL ATHENS

Arrival at Athens airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring Greece's beautiful capital. You may optionally visit Syntagma Square and indulge in the vibe of this stunning city. Enjoy shopping in some of the most popular areas of the city, the Kolonaki or Ermou, and have a nice, quiet walk on the beautiful alleys of Plaka, the old district where you can also find a great number of small shops selling souvenirs and other local artefacts.
Overnight in Athens
Day 2 : ATHENS – CAPE SOUNION – ATHENS
Location: Athens, Cape Sounion

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and a free morning. In the afternoon drive along the coastal road, passing the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza to the most Southern point of Attica, Cape Sounion, where the white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand. On the way, you have a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and the little islands offshore. After visiting the Temple of Poseidon, you have time to walk at leisure on the rocky promontory of Sounion.

Day 3 : ATHENS – DELPHI – KALAMBAKA (417 km -5.5 hrs)
Location: Athens, Delphi, Kalambaka

After a delicious breakfast, leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Wander around spellbinding Delphi, and visit the interesting Archaeological Site (entrance to the Delphi museum not included). Afterward, depart for beautiful Kalambaka, passing through the picturesque villages and spectacular towns of Central Greece. Proceed to Kalambaka for a delightful dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : KALAMBAKA – ATHENS (355 km - 4hrs)
Location: Meteora, Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae, Athens

Indulge in a luscious breakfast at your selected hotel. Then, head towards Meteora, one of Greece's most famous landmarks. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and get closer to the Greek glorious history and culture. Admire the ageless Monasteries, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks and containing priceless historical and religious treasures. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae. Have a short stop to see across the road the Leonida's Monument, and arrive in Greece´s capital city early in the evening.

Day 5 : DEPARTURE ATHENS
Location: Athens, Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Acropolis, The New Acropolis Museum

Begin your day with a mouthwatering breakfast at your hotel, preparing to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city, during a memorable city tour. Our expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. Stop for a few moments and then continue your tour passing by the Prime Minister's residence- the former Royal Palace, guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniform. Then, see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, University, National Library, and the lovely Constitution Square (Syntagma). Go to Acropolis to visit the Architectural Masterpieces of Athens' Golden Age: The Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally "the harmony between material and spirit" and the monument that "puts an order in mind"- Greece's imposing Parthenon. Last, but not least, admire the wonders of the classical era at The New Acropolis Museum. After this interesting tour, return to your hotel to pick up your luggage and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
