On this trip you will visit Zambia's most beautiful parks, Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa National Parks. The transfers are done partly by vehicle, partly by domestic flights. All nights are spent in middle class lodges with en suite bathrooms, all activities and meals are included.

Day 1 : Lusaka

After arrival in Lusaka transfer to a small lodge in the outskirts of town. Dinner in a restaurant.
Day 2 : Lower Zambezi National Park
Location: Lower Zambezi National Park

After breakfast we drive through Lusaka and down the escarpment to the Zambezi valley. A visit to the Lower Zambezi Park is one of the highlights in Zambia.
Day 3 : Lower Zambezi National Park
Location: Chongwe Gate (Lower Zambezi National Park)

The Zambezi River on the one side and the Escarpment on the other form the backdrop of our game viewing. We do game drives in the park and boating along the river shore to watch the animals come to drink. On one of these days, we will do a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi.
We stay in chalets a Kasaka Lodge or Lower Zambezi Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Day 4 : Lower Zambezi National Park
Location: Chongwe Gate (Lower Zambezi National Park)

We have the whole day to explore the area on our game drives.
Day 5 : Flight to Mfuwe – South Luangwa National Park
Location: Mfuwe International Airport, South Luangwa National Park

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
In the morning transfer to Royal or Jeki Airstrip and flight to Mfuwe airport. Transfer to our lodge on the banks of the Luangwa River. No activities are included for this afternoon. Overnight in Safari Tents at Msandile Lodge or similar.
Day 6 - 7 : South Luangwa National Park

South Luangwa NP is known for its abundance of African wildlife: Thorneycroft’s giraffe, Cookson’s Gnu, Crawshay Zebra and big herds of buffalo and elephant.
Game drives along the Luangwa River often produce spectacular sightings. Hippo families can be seen in great numbers in the river, unparalleled in Africa.
Day 8 : South Luangwa National Park
Location: South Luangwa National Park

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Transfer to Msandile Lodge on the eastern border of the national park. We will stay for 3 days here and explore the area on game drives (also night drives).

Day 9 : Departure
Location: Mfuwe International Airport, South Luangwa National Park
Meals Included: Breakfast
Transfer to the airport Mfuwe and flight back home.
