This private tour takes you on a journey through the cultural and natural wonders of northern India. Starting in Delhi, you will visit both Old and New Delhi's iconic landmarks before heading to Amritsar to witness the Beating Retreat ceremony at Wagah Border. From there, you will explore the picturesque towns of Dalhousie and Killar, located in the stunning Pangi Valley, and visit Kishtwar and Pahalgam, two more scenic locations. Finally, the tour will end in Srinagar after exploring the city's famous gardens, temples, and the Gulmarg ski resort.

Day 2 : New Delhi

DelhiBreakfast at hotel. Full day city tour of Delhi, visiting landmark of Old Delhi which include Red Fort the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly 200 years until 1857. Jama Masjid one of the largest mosques in the world, built by Shah Jahan. Cycle Rickshaw ride in Chandni chowk & Khari Baoli Spice Market a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry and vivid saris, while the narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery and traditional Indian sweets. Raj Gath the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated after his assassination. Drive thrugh VVIP areas passing through President House, Parliament & India Gate etc. Visit New Delhi which include Humayun Tomb the first garden-tomb in Indian subcontinent and an early example of Mughal architecture commissioned by Humayun's first wife Empress Bega Begum in 1569-70. Qutab Minar a 73-metres tall minaret that forms part of the Qutb complex a fine examples of Afghan architecture. Lotus Temple a Baháʼí House of Worship notable for its flowerlike shape open to all, regardless of religion.Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Amritsar

Delhi - Amritsar (Train No.12029 SWARNA SHTBDI, 0720/ 1345hr)Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to railway station to board morning satabdi train to Amritsar. On arrival at Amritsar railway station assistance and transfer to hotel.
Later excursion to visit Bagha border to attend Beating Retreat Ceremony. Every evening, just before the sunset, the soldiers from the Indian and Pakistan military meet at this border post to engage in a 30-minute display of military camaraderie and showmanship. Officially, the purpose of the ceremony is to formally close the border for the night and lower the national flag. However, it is an entertainment ceremony and a display of national pride for the thousands of people who come here every day. During the build-up to the ceremony, the crowd engages in chanting the Indian national anthem, rounds of applause and Bollywood-style dancing on Hindi songs. Day 4 : Dalhousie

Amritsar - Dalhousie (200kms/ 5-6hrs approx)Breakfast at hotel visit Golden Temple famous for its full golden dome, it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs. The central Sikh Museum is atop the Clock Tower. The ‘Guru Ka Langar’ offer free food to around 20,000 people every day. The number shoot up to 1,00,000 on special occasions. The Durgiana Temple though a Hindu temple, its architecture is similar to the Golden Temple. Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum famous for its rare and priceless collections, particularly Paintings, Weapons and Armours, Manuscripts & Coins. Gobindgarh Fort originally built by Gujjar Singh Bhangi, the local chieftain in the 18th century. Gobindgarh was conquered and enhanced in the early 19th century by Maharaja Ranjit Singh who renamed it after the 10th Sikh guru Guru Gobind Singh. The fort had five cannons which included the famous two ‘Zamzama' cannons. Rickshaw ride and walking tour of old market in Amritsar.

DalhousieBreakfast at hotel. City tour of Dalhousie a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in Himachal Pradesh. It's home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. To the north, Subhash Baoli is a peaceful area with pine trees and panoramic views. Rest time free and easy to relax. Overnight at hotel.

Dalhousie - Killar (Pangi Valley) (200kms/ 6-8hrs approx)Breakfast at hotel drive to Killar an adventurous drive on bad road (muddy/ slushy) via The Saach Pass, a mountain pass at an altitude of 14500 ft. It helps the valley with tourism and easy transportation as it offers proper roadways for those who want to travel there. It is open during the months of June and October as it snows heavily throughout the other months. Once you reach the place you are seeing the beauty of nature. You see the mountain range very clearly. The palce is so scenic that you try to spend more time appreciating the beauty of nature. The road is single and at times you may drive 1-2km before getting a place to reverse your vehicle. In the sunset time, the place looks really awesome. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Pangi

: Killar (Pangi Valley)Breakfast at hotel. Explore Pangi Valley a serene, quiet area inhabited by a tribal folk at an altitude of 7000 ft to 11000 ft above sea level. The inhabitants of the valley include the Pangwala and Bhoti tribe, some of them being Hindus and Buddhists. Despite it being of natural beauty, it is underdeveloped and hidden away with uneven roads and scanty resources. The valley is surrounded by white peaked mountain tops and rugged roads making it fabulous for those who enjoy a good trek and adventure.
Even though the valley is quiet, there are many attractions and places to visit in its vicinity. Visit Killar, a hamlet located in a narrow gorge of the Chenab river & the shrine of Det Nag in Killar. Dharwas which is the largest village in the valley. Shour, a bridge that swings over an icy cold river. Mindhal Basan Devi temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to the deity Mindhal Devi. The several attractions present in the valley seem to be close to the hearts of its inhabitants which make the experience cozy, personal, and homely. Overnight at hotel.

Killar - Kishtwar (121kms/ 4-5hrs approx)Breakfast at hotel drive to check in at hotel/ guesthouse. Situated on the banks of the Chenab river, Kishtwar is famous for its natural beauty & an unending list of religious places. Chowgan is the name of a large natural pasture within the heart of city existing naturally since centuries. This pasture is full of herbs and nutritious grass which also produces a good quality of mushrooms. Chowgan had a huge ground measuring 165 acres, surrounded by Chinar, Deodar and other trees. On the north is a hindu Gaurishankar Temple, on the south a shrine named Asrar-Ud-Din-Bagdadi and famous Kishtwar saffron fields on its west. The surrounding villages add a definite charm and beauty to this playground. On the north-western corner is a place called “Char Chinar”. Four tall Chinar trees have enclosed it and some of them are said to be over 200 years old. The spot has got historical importance. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Pahalgam

Kishtwar - Pahalgam (190kms/ 4-5hrs approx)Breakfast at hotel/ guesthouse, drive to Pahalgam the Valley of Shepherds 7,000ft above sea level. Pahalgam situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, was once a humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Hajan on the way to Chandanwari is an idyllic spot. There is a Shiva temple considered to be Kashmir's oldest existing temple, dating to the 5th century. Overnight at hotel.Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Pahalgam

PahalgamBreakfast at hotel, visit Aru valley noted for its scenic meadows. The village is a base camp for trekkers to the Kolahoi Glacier, the Tarsar-Marsar lakes and the Katrinag valley. It is also a base for the treks to Lidderwat, the Vishansar-Kishansar lakes and Kangan. The Kolahoi is the largest glacier in the Kashmir Valley, and is located near Mt. Kolahoi (5425m), the highest peak in the Valley. There are about 20 alpine lakes, peaks and meadows around the Aru Valley. Other popular activities include fishing of trout in the Lidder River, trekking, hiking, horse riding, sightseeing and photography. Overnight at hotel.

Enjoy a cable car ride on Gondola which will take you to the Majestic height of 13,000ft above sea level covering the magnificent views of Himalayan Mountains and Pirpanjal ranges. You can also enjoy a view of Nanga Parbat if the weather permits. Golf playing, Horse Riding, Hiking & Snow Skiing are other activities available here at additional cost.

SrinagarBreakfast at hotel, full day city tour of Srinagar. Visit Mughal Gardens Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh & Chashma Shahi. Then excursion to Hari Parbat a hill overlooking Srinagar the site of a fort, built in the Durrani era, a Hindu temple, mosques, and gurdwara. Later visit Shankaracharya Temple the sacred temple occupies the top of the hills known as Takht-I-Sulaiman in the south-east of Srinagar. The site dates back to 250BC. Rest time to explore the market. Evening Shikara ride on the Dal Lake, visiting floating vegetable gardens.Overnight at Hotel.
