We booked several tours with Nordic Unique Travels. Glad we made the right decision... Our trip to Rovaniemi, Finland was seamless because of them. All our tour guides were really friendly and shared lots of information about the places we visited. Thanks to Livia, Francesco, Jan, Erik, Myriam, Nikki, Carlos and Mathias for making our trip extra special 😊

We had a great time with our 5 day tour package with Nordic Unique Travels with our wonderful, very informative and helpful tour guides, Livia, Francesco, Jan, Erik, Myriam, Nikki, Carlos and Mathias. We did not caught a fish and did not see the northern lights but the Risiintunturi and the snowmobile driving were awesome! The sausage, salmon, salmon soup and hot blueberry juice were very good. The hotel part of the package was at the city center and close to everything, the staffs were friendly and we like it that they have a sauna. Highly recommending NUT 🥰 Thank you very much!

Our good experience/best memory goes to our tour guide, Carlos. Since we had a bad experience on the first day and Carlos was sent to be our guide on the next day. He picked us up and double checked our names just to make sure the all guests were real customers. And he kept saying he won't forget us. He drove carefully according to the law so we could trust him. Along the way he could describe several useful things. We enjoyed talking and didn't fall asleep. He understood his guests and didn't force us to do whatever we didn't want. If we were cold, we could be in the car. BBQ was also good for vegetarians. He kept corns and vegan sausages for us. This made us feel like we were special and turned the bad experience on the first day to good. When he sent us back, he dropped us in front of the apartment door. Thank you so much for the tour and the best tour guide.

I booked once I arrived in rovaniemi, the office was friendly. I booked a few tours. Yuming was a great guide, the reindeer farm was good fun and would recommend, especially for kids. Second tour was snowmobile and husky with ken, again he was great at explaining and giving some general info on Finland while we waited for snowmobile. The last tour was Matthias to the frozen waterfalls. I really liked this tour and guide had loads of stories, facts and info about rovaniemi, the forests, current ecosystem and the past history of the woods and animals. Showed us animal tracks and lots of information on the seasons. Genuine outdoors person who seemed like he enjoyed his job and engaging with customers.

Our tour guide Carlos was AMAZING!!! He guided us all the way preparing nice and warm food to enjoy in the cold and chased the northern lights to have super stunning views of it. We were beyond grateful for his guidance and also the good weather for the last week of the peak season!! Totally recommend to come take a visit. 5 stars for Carlos :D

Incredible and wonderful tours! We booked the Aurora hunt, the husky safari and reindeer safari. The experiences were astonishing. Aldo, Miquel and Fotis were our personal guides. They gave us a very welcoming and personal feeling, they explained extensively the life of a husky and reindeer, as well as how the Aurora Borealis works. Highly recommended, we will definitely book here again!

We have joined Nordic Unique Travel for a day tour in Rovaniemi, the trip is really amazing and enjoyable. We first went to hiking, and had a panoramic view of the city. Then we went to visit the museum and got some knowledge of the weather characteristics of finland. Later, we had a delicious lunch buffet in Santa Claus village, and met Santa! Further, we had the reindeer ride. Our lovely guide, Jane, was really helpful. We had another activities at night. When she realized it, she proactively adjusted our schedules of activities to suit the same. She was very familiar with all the details of Finland, and all my family members enjoyed so much! Thanks Jane, 👍👍👍👍

We had a wonderful guide called Rami, who took us to Santa's Village. He was so patient and informative regarding the schedule and layout of the village. Not only did he have great relationship skills he spoke 5 and a half languages, making people feel comfortable and at easy.

Our tour guides Grazziaro, Etienne, Jane, Edgar, Mari were all great. We got very lucky on our Northern Lights hunt (in their own words), they took us south of Rovaniemi to a frozen lake where we saw the most wonderful Auroras. I'd recommend using Aurora apps ahead of visiting and booking, also make sure you speak to them as soon as you arrive to get their sense of the best night that week. I’d recommend the photo tour, they had an excellent low light camera and the BBQ was a nice touch. Also did the 5k Husky tour, forgot our tour guide’s name but he was the best of all - super knowledgeable about flora, fauna and Finnish history, his enthusiasm was infectious. Husky ride was great and dogs well looked after. Definitely take the warm weather gear they offer you, as it is cold even with this on.

The snowshoeing tour was great! We could borrow overalls and shoes for the tour as well as the snowshoes themselves. Our guides, Joel and Jane, did a great job navigating us through the snowy forest to a view point on Vaattunkivaara where we ate some cookies and drank a warm blueberry juice. Highly recommend the tour, you can also be picked up directly at your accommodation if preferred!

Great snowmobile night trip, hunting for the lights. Very happy with Juan P and Jan, who took great care of us, including the three young kids in our group. We enjoyed the tour, and also the BBQ in the middle of the snowy forest. A definite highlight of our entire Finland/Lapland trip

We had a short stay in Rovaniemi and we couldn't have chosen better our activities! Our favourites were Santa Claus village with Laura, our guide, her passion and way of telling all the juicy facts of the village were something to remember, she even offered to take us some pictures, I would totally recommend it if you are travelling with kids. And the snowmobile with our guide Miquel, super funny and careful, always making sure we were having fun! He also gave us some cookies and juice which were delicious and made the cold weather seem nothing to worry about!

My daughter visited Finland in March. We decided to use Nordic Unique Travels for our tours in Rovaniemi. We had Pasquale as our tour guide for snowshoeing. We had a great time and Pasquale was fun, informative and helpful. I wouldn’t think twice to get him as a tour guide again. Thank you Pasquale!

Thanks to Nordic Unique Travels, I had the incredible experience of seeing the Northern Lights for the first time! All the tour guides(Especially, Joey, Gigi and Jakub) were friendly and knowledgeable, and the sales agents were extremely helpful. I would definitely choose them again if I have the chance to return to Rovaniemi. Highly recommended for travelers from all over the world!

My wife and I got to know Nordic Unique Travels through our tour guide and we went to book the Arctic Dinner with Private Sauna and Jacuzzi. Our guide for this trip, Amy, was very nice, kind and patient in guiding us along the way, making sure that everything is taken care of beforehand (She grills the best salmon by the way 😂) We highly recommend this activity to anyone for those that seeks an unique experience in Rovaniemi!

Great experience with this company! Special mention to DARLENE who helped me a lot in coordinating this. As a solo traveler, it is quite difficult to arrange but she assisted me well. I also had a great guide, THIJS. He is very informative and helpful. He gave great facts about the animals and is great in spotting them! I would say this is more important because it is indeed quite difficult to spot them. He also gave good recommendations on the other tours from the company which I will definitely consider once I'm back in Rovaniemi. I did not feel rushed at all and the flexibility and flow of the activity is enough. Overall great experience with the service. I highly recommend it. Of course please keep in mind that nature has its own course. If it plays within your interest, you are really considered lucky. The tour company can only help support and they really do try their best.

Highly recommend this tour group. I would book directly with them on their website. We used a third party to book 3 tours with Nordic Unique Travels; one of which did not transfer nor notify them. Non the less, Beatriz in operations. was amazing in pulling together an amazing team consisting of Remy and Jakob to make our ice fishing and husky ride happen. The team showed absolute attention, patience and interest in being there. I would also like to acknowledge how fun Amy and her band of Spanish brothers (which i believed included Pasquale on 22.11.23) made the tour on hunting for the northern lights with Lappish bbq. Amy showed a lot of energy and interest in where we all were from. Our favorite by far was the 5km husky ride hosted by Edgar. This is not to be missed. The tour guides at Nordic Unique are so happy to be there and doing what they enjoy from small group photography tours to hosting conversations over fire in the traditional Finnish teepees (Kotas). We felt we were welcome to stay and enjoy as long as we wanted.

A huge thank you to Jane, our guide, for making our visit to the Husky farm so memorable. Of course, the dogs were the star of the show, and absolutely beautiful. The dogs are well taken care of and in such a beautiful location, you can’t help but love this experience. Jane is an excellent host, always keeping us informed about what is happening, and also giving us great tips to enjoy our stay in Rovaniemi. Highly recommend!

It has been a wonderful experience. We had Gabriele and Cristopher as guides, two wonderful people whose explanations we loved. We were able to enjoy a day at Santa Claus Village with a reindeer ride, traditional food buffet, visit to Santa Claus and the Arctic Circle, we also took the opportunity to do some shopping and it was fantastic. I am very grateful to the guides for how well they treated us and I recommend this activity, super complete and entertaining.

This was our first husky ride in our entire time and we had so much fun even though the temperature is so cold around -28C. The tour provide us with winter outfit to withstand the cold and shoes as well, we are grateful for that, if not we might be even colder there. Our guide Aaron was such a nice guy, he was friendly and very informative. We got a lot of fun facts about rovaniemi and recommendations about activities we can do while we are here. We even got to try the famous berry juice while waiting for our turn to did the husky ride. overall it was fun! very recommended!

[For summer travelers] I was traveling alone and booked 2 tours. 1) Canoeing with husky/reindeer farm = € 201 2) Floating seeing the midnight sun = € 89. 1) When I booked it, a had a lot of expectations, because if someone say to you “farm”, you imagine a large place where the animals have a lot of space. The husky “farm” is at Santa Claus village and I found quite small for the quantity of animals there. I love dogs, so I felt a little uncomfortable in general. The reindeer “farm” was also a space at the Santa Claus village, in this case there was space enough, but it’s not something special. You give some leaves for them and take some pictures, this was about 1/2 hour. The canoeing tour was the most frustrated part, I was alone, so because of that I went in a big canoe with 3 people from the company. I super understand that for them that was not new. They see that everyday, but for me not. I paid a lot of money for being in the middle of the lake because nobody was motivated enough to row. Of course, they asked me what I wanted, and I said 2, 3 times that I wanted to go more far, but how could I made this alone? Because every time they started to row after some minutes they stopped. And then I spend the time in this situation with them when the other tourists were enjoying. So, if you travel alone have sure other tourist will be with you canoeing or ask for a individual canoe. I regretted a lot spending 200 euros in this tour. I have no ideia how much money is the husky/reindeer tour directly at Santa Claus village because I was so frustrated that I did not want to be more. But for sure you can search for this information online. 2) The floating suit is really uncomfortable and there was only one bathroom for about 6 people change and put it. The day was really hot, so dress the suit was a nightmare. But, I tried to make it for the experience. I spent 10 minutes with it in the lake, because with the hot weather and the weirdness of the suit this was enough. Then, I asked for a life jacket and went to the lake with that and this was the most expensive price for swimming in a lake that I’ve ever paid. Gigi the guide was really friendly, but in general was another lost of money. So, I don’t recommend and take with me all the frustration after 290 € less 😓

We had an amazing day with Christian who is a really happy person and great guide! He gave a good attitude to the whole group. Furthermore he gave us an amazing experience at the snowmobile and with the icefishing. He can highly recommend to go on a trip with this company and especially have Christian as your tour guide. 🫶🏽🧡

We had a bad experience at Arctic Circle Snowmobile park, they left earlier than the event start time. But we had to see things in a bright side. We got to Nordic Unique Travels to try if there was any trips we could join. We were lucky we could join one and the guide brought all of us to see the beautiful northern lights. I really recommend Nordic Unique Travels. The event started at 9:30pm, they waited people till 9:35pm. They provided warm clothing, boots and very nice gratitude for northern lights hunting. The guide GG/JJ was very very nice. He brought us to the first sight and we saw the lights once we got there. He and his teammates made their best to give all of us 2 or more photos taking with northern lights, can’t wait to see the results. Then we dropped off to the camping site, we got warm fire with us, GG/JJ tried his very best to provide marshmallows and sausages to greet us even his hand has been freezing all the time. And his teammates managed to take more photos for us. It was a really really good trip even if we could not see the lights. But we made it!!!!!!! That’s an accomplishment of the bucket lists.

Highly recommend! We did Snowmobiling and Animal Safari an it was incredible! Had a lovely tour guide, Natalia, and she was really helpful and took great pictures too!

I had a super enjoyable experience at the sauna. The place is really nice and the location is fantastic, next to a lake and a forest. Our guide Walter was very friendly and provided us with valuable advice. After the sauna we enjoyed a delicious hot berry juice together with the other participants in a nice room. I highly recommend this experience.

First we did the Huskies farm and sleigh activity, was really nice to see the sunrise there, the puppies were really cute, especial thanks to Alberto, Camille and Lorie. During the night we went to Northern lights hunting, we were not lucky because was cloudy. Anyway we had an amazing time with Juampi and Laura, big thanks to them. Highly recommended 👌

The Nordic Unique Travel have many tour packages. Finally i choose The Arctic Animal Day Trip with Husky Farm, Reindeer Farm and Wildlife Park. I can said was an amazing experience. Especially the husky sledge ride was perfect. Our guide Jerry was nice and helpful throughout. We can highly recommend this trip. Thank again Jerry…

We did a tour to the horse riding farm. Alice picked us up and was super nice. At the horse farm the guides were super nice too and the horses looked happy and healthy, so you can go there without any doubts. Alice was waiting there and took great pictures of us. Thank you very much

Choosing Nordic Unique Travel is a good choice. Our dog and we chose a one-day trip to Riisitunturi National Park on December 5, 2023. The scenery is breathtaking and unforgettable. Special thanks to our tour guide Anna. Every arrangement and detail was just right, and she took good care of us and our dogs. Because it was too cold, the dogs didn’t want to go back on the return trip. Our lovely tour guide used her sled all the way without saying anything. Taking our dogs with us, we ended this wonderful trip perfectly.

We had the best time with our knowledgeable and friendly guides Jane and Pierre. We were given plenty of time to see everything we wanted and Jane took some great photos for us. We are so disappointed our day came to an end - we just wanted to keep seeing more!

Jerry was the best guide! We had a wonderful time dog sledding. Nothing was too much trouble for Jerry and we were well looked after. We even had time for an extra stop at an iced lake beauty spot. I would thoroughly recommend booking trips with Nordic Unique Travels

One of the best experiences of my life! Completely worth every penny, snowmobiling in the arctic circle, can't wait to come back one day. Massive thanks to Aldo, Jane and Lukas who made the experience even better.

The 10km husky safari was a fantastic experience. It was almost an hour on our own sled so dress extra-warm, especially proper gloves (-25C early Jan). Keep your jacket under the coveralls they provide even if you think you will be too hot, you can always open the overalls. The husky farm was more humane than I was expecting, dogs look happy and healthy and super keen to mush. Also did the northern lights tour and unfortunately saw no lights which was expected due to the forecast but they still made an effort to take us to a couple of places that had at least less 'low' clouds for the lights to hopefully sneak through, followed by some blueberry juice and biscuits around a fire. We mistakenly wore the boots provided the first time instead of wearing our own good winter boots as we did not realise they were only optional, but they are waterproof and better than wearing sneakers. For our bus tour they looked at my boots first and told me that they were sufficient. Gigi was a great guide and very friendly. The ride to and from the farm was a bit quiet as you receive information at the farm but they will answer questions if you have any. The main office can get a bit full and hectic when busy but we just showed up on time and let someone know that we had arrived and the employees came and found us once we had changed/were ready.

We did not see the northern lights inspite of the sky being super clear..but nevertheless we absolutely enjoyed the clear sky, stars, moonlight with barbeque and bonfire. Totally worth it. Gigi was our host/guide and he is super polite and friendly. Also, extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered all our queries! The locations he chose were super magical and peaceful. The tour was originally supposed to be for 3 hours only but he extended it by an hour or so just to increase our chances of seeing the northern lights.
