"The Maldives is pristine with white sand beaches, blue ocean water, many beautiful islands, tons of coconut trees and an extensive range of activities. It’s the most ideal getaway – for couples and families."

"If you're not already on a tour, plan to stay at a water villa for at least 3 days, it’s a spectacular experience and totally worth it. A beach villa is good when you have planned more outdoor activities for the day."

"Sunscreen – tons and tons of it, you'll need it. Beach wear, dresses, shorts, hats, sunglasses, comfortable footwear, swimwear, underwater camera, beach bags, and waterproof packing cubes."
Favourite time of year to visit Maldives
"The recommended time is November to April, but the pricing is super expensive then. The low season is May to November when it’s light monsoon and prices are low with frequent room upgrades."

"Pack plenty of sunscreen, sunglasses, swimwear and a hat, it's incredibly bright in the Maldives with both water and white sand reflecting the light. Don’t take any alcohol with you as it’s prohibited. Alcoholic drinks are only available on resort islands"
